With the Condition of ‘No Plastic Bags’: Amanullah’s Family Shop Has Been Reopened in Sirajganj, Bangladesh

Through Moshal Alo’s ‘Project Empowerment 25’ in Sirajganj, Bangladesh, Amanullah’s shop has been fully equipped and prepared to serve. After spending all their savings on Amanullah’s cancer treatment, his family faced severe financial hardship. This project aims to restore stability and dignity by creating sustainable income opportunities. The shop is expected to become a source of long-term empowerment for his household, Insha’Allah.

Amscollage As part of this project, all necessary items have been handed over to establish Amanullah’s store in Khaskawlia, Moddyho Jotpara, Chouhali, Sirajganj, Bangladesh. This initiative is more than just a business setup— it’s a symbol of hope, resilience, and the promise of a better future for his family.

Amanullah has been battling cancer since childhood and his family has poured all their financial resources into his treatment. The emotional and economic toll has been immense, leaving them in a state of uncertainty. With this shop, insha’Allah, they now have the opportunity to rebuild and to create a stable and dignified livelihood that can support their daily needs and restore a sense of purpose.

Before handing over the business setup, we set two important conditions for Amanullah’s family: first, they must not use any extra plastic bags when selling goods, since protecting the environment is our shared responsibility alongside serving the community. Second, they committed to praying five times a day, emphasizing the spiritual strength that supports their resilience.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who contributed to this project. Your support has helped turn a painful chapter into a hopeful one. The journey of empowerment continues.

Say no to plastic bags.

Bright Hands- Stronger Tomorrow.
