A dedicated volunteer from Moshal Alo has completed his 6th blood donation offering not only his life-saving gift but also sharing an important lesson learned from his experience.
After donating blood, everyone should rest for 15-20 minutes. But in this instance, due to being in a hurry, our blood donor had to get up after just 5-7 minutes. This led to a distressing experience, as he became faint and disoriented. Despite this challenge, the situation was quickly managed, and he made a full recovery.
Reflecting on the experience, the volunteer emphasized: “Please remember, no matter how urgent it feels, always take at least 15 minutes to rest after donating blood. Rushing can lead to serious consequences, and your health should always be a priority."
"Blood donation is an act of life-saving kindness. But while you help others, never forget to take care of yourself. Your health matters too."
This volunteer’s story serves as a reminder for all blood donors to remain cautious and take proper post-donation precautions.
