Winter Relief 2024: First Outreach in Northern Bangladesh

On 26 December 2024, Moshal Alo extended its Winter Relief campaign beyond central Bangladesh for the first time—reaching the underserved communities of Jaldhaka, Nilphamari. This marked a significant milestone in our journey as we provided essential winter support to children in one of the country's most underserved regions.

Through this project, 120 students from four locations received specially curated winter gift packages consisting of a shawl and a winter cap to help them stay warm during the harsh northern winter.

Project Locations

The Winter Relief 2024 initiative reached four institutions across Nilphamari:

  • Hazrat Sumaiya (R.A.) Women’s Madrasa, Bagulagari, Jaldhaka, Nilpahamari
  • Hazrat Fatema (R.A.) Model Women’s Madrasa & Orphanage, Jaldhaka, Nilpahamari
  • Ayesha Siddika (R.A.) Women’s Madrasa, Kishoreganj, Nilpahamari

A Glimpse of Our Efforts

WR-24 Cover 2.jpeg Winter Relief 2024 offered a close view of the severe challenges in northern regions like Jaldhaka, where basic needs remain unmet like clean drinking water. Beyond distributing winter essentials, the project fostered connection and set the foundation for future, long-term initiatives. We’re grateful to all who made this effort possible.
